Aria is the the second daughter of Michelle and Nick Clarkin, and younger sister to 5 year old Eirelie. She recently turned 3 and despite the battle she faces everyday, she continues to thrive in the loving environment created by her family and friends.

The 'Aria Foundation' has been created to allow funds raised for the benefit of Aria to be managed and distibuted for a variety of her needs in the coming years. Aria suffers from a very rare condition recently named 'Vanishing White Matter'. In essense it is a deterioration and slow disappearance of the white matter within the brain.

The foundation has been created in the first instance to provide for Aria's short to long term needs, but beyond this, funds will be directed toward a charity organisation that provides for mentally or physcially handicapped children. There are a number of national and local charities under consideration. Final details will be presented early in July 2007.
